Hello and Happy 2021!  My name is Ms. Murphy, and I am a native of Georgia. This is my third year teaching Social Studies at Chattahoochee Hills Charter School. Fourth Grade is a very exciting and transformation year and this is officially the start of our 2020-2021 school year.  This year we will be learning about many different and interesting topics in social studies and I am looking forward to getting to know each scholar.

In fourth grade, students continue with year two of a three year study of United States history in which all four strands (history, geography, civics/government, and economics) are integrated. Students will begin the year learning about the French and Indian War( Seven Years War and end with the Reconstruction period.
