Welcome to Mrs. Owens Website

My name is Tracy Owens and grew up in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago.  I moved here when I married my husband Joe 31 years ago. I have three children Jordan, Kristin, and Sean who are all grown up.  I have two wonderful grandchildren Magnolia and Davis. I have three dogs that are all rescues and a pet fish. The scholars will hear about my dogs, and grandchildren a lot. I have been teaching for over 15 years primarily in third grade.

I love teaching and believe that forming good strong relationships with my students and their families is a key to scholars being successful in school.  I believe that if the teacher, family, and scholars are all on the same page the scholar will be successful  I love the children to have engaging lessons, and also learning through exploration, and play.

I love nature and animals so being at Chattahoochee Hills is a blessing for me. I love anything Disney related.  I go frequently throughout the year.  I love playing games and spending time with friends and family.  I love to travel, and spending time at the beach and the mountains.
